How to deal when you can’t get away from your ex

June 24, 2020 by Dr Zoë Krupka

When Isabella moved back to her tiny hometown after a break-up, she didn’t expect to see her ex again for a while. But then he started coming to her family’s pub three times a week, with his new girlfriend in tow.

When you go through a break up, you generally don’t want to be running into your ex all the time. So, what do you do when you literally can’t avoid it?

Whether you work with them, are in the same uni tutes, or live in the same tiny town, here Zoe Krupka joins Nat to chat about how to deal when you can’t get that space you need to truly get over your ex.

*The abc have referred to me as a ‘psychologist’ here. Common error, but I am not a psychologist, I’m a psychotherapist and proud of it.
